In short
The most important tab is Activity (transactions). Westara builds holdings and closed positions from it.
The multi-sheet template also has optional tabs: accounts, holdings (opening balances), dividends, budget, year-end snapshots and momentum.
- Year-end snapshots fill the archive under Reports → Year-end AUM. They don't rebuild holdings.
- The holdings tab can add opening balances when a security has no trade history.
Westara recognises column names and skips duplicate rows when you import again. You can also restore a saved Westara activity file (JSON).
