Every sign-up starts with a 34-day Solo trial, with AI, then moves to Free. One trial per household (Solo only), no card needed. Live bank sync is coming.

Fixed monthly or yearly price – no usage-based fees.

AI credits are included in the price. When your allowance is used up, AI pauses until the 1st of next month. Westara doesn't charge anything extra.

Solo: 200 credits per person per month. Family: 300 credits per household per month, shared. Unused credits lapse at the end of the month; they have no cash value and are not paid out.

Founder price: book Solo or Family by 31 Dec 2026 and keep this price for as long as your subscription runs without a break, including switching between monthly and yearly. Changing plan or cancelling ends it. Details: terms, section 6

02Payment and switching

Manage paid plans in the app. Switching between Solo and Family applies immediately; with card payments, unused time becomes credit rather than a refund. Pay by card. Trials, plan changes, cancellation and withdrawal are covered by the Terms.

Final prices. No VAT is charged under Section 19 UStG (German small business scheme).

How does the trial work?

Try Solo free for 34 days – no payment details, then you continue automatically on Free. Once per new household, Solo only. There is no trial for Family.

Do I need a card to start?

No. The trial needs no card.

Does Free include AI?

No, Free has no AI chat. AI starts with Solo, including the trial: 200 AI credits per month (1 chat message = 1 credit). Family – AI: 300 credits per month, shared across the household. Credits reset on the 1st of each month on every plan.

How many people does Family cover?

For families: up to 6 separate logins. Up to 6 people, including you. Everyone signs in with their own account; the person who pays keeps the plan. Me / person / All is a filter on each person’s books, not one shared book. AI: 300 credits per month, shared across the household.

Can I pay yearly?

Yes: Solo €99 a year, Family €139 a year.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes, in the app. Your paid plan runs until the date shown, then you continue on Free.

What does Westara cost?

Free: €0, no subscription, no card. Solo: €12.99 a month or €99 a year. Family: €17.99 a month or €139 a year. These are final prices. No VAT is charged under German § 19 UStG.

Does cash count?

Cash counts: add a cash account, and it flows straight into your net worth – on every plan.
