Questions about investments: which stocks you hold and how they're doing — not your total savings, bank balance, or Bitcoin in chat
Questions about spending: your budget vs what you actually spent, for that screen only
Your information stays stored in Germany; built-in tips still work when chat help is off or you've reached your limit

Common questions
Do I need both portfolio and household budget?
No — use one, both, or start with what you need. Your morning summary shows what you've set up and grows with you.
What's missing on the free plan?
No partner access, no bank import with AI autopilot, no chat help, and a 25-investment cap. Morning summary, portfolio (including Bitcoin), multi-currency totals, household budget, and data export still work.
Can I mix EUR, USD, and other currencies?
Yes. Set a portfolio currency (often EUR). Holdings and cash keep their native currency; Bridge and Fleet totals convert for a single trusted picture. Pure EUR portfolios work exactly as before.
Does Captain support Bitcoin?
Yes — Bitcoin is a first-class part of your treasury, not a side crypto tab. Track wallet or exchange balances, see live marks and weight next to cash and equities, and keep keys in your own wallet. Captain never holds your Bitcoin.
Who can see my financial data?
Only you, with your sign-in. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, hosted in Germany, and never sold or used for ads. Other households never see your numbers. Partners only see what you invite them to on a Family plan. Optional chat help is scoped — never a dump of your whole vault.
