In short
App focus decides how much of the menu and Overview you see: Full app, Budget or Portfolio. It's available on every plan and is set per person.
The three options
- Full app (default): investments plus budget and spending together
- Budget: budget and spending only
- Portfolio: investments only
When you first start
During setup, Westara asks: What do you want Westara for? The choices are Complete app — personal wealth, Household and budget only and Investments only. If you already chose a focus when you signed up, this question is skipped.
How to change your focus
Open Profile → Preferences, or the account menu.
Pick an option under App focus.
Tap Save.
You can change your focus again at any time.
What changes and what doesn't
Focus only hides menu items and sections of the Overview. No data is deleted. Switch back to Full app and everything is visible again. On the Family plan, each person picks their own focus.
