Answers for your money

Westara keeps your plan and real spending in three places — Overview connects them with your investments:

• Budget — your year plan table (income, fixed bills, flexible spending, one-offs). Tap a cell to edit. When you change a planned amount, choose this month only, the rest of the year, or the full year. After you log spending on Actuals, use Build plan to copy logged months into the plan and optionally project the rest of the year.

• Actuals — what really happened each month. Prefer Import bank statement for bank exports; rare single rows via ⋯ → log manually (pick a Cash account — required). You get summary cards, a trend, category cards, and a transaction inbox.

• Ready to assign — leftover linked cash this month after amounts already in the plan. It is a confidence check, not a full zero-based envelope system (every euro assigned before you spend).

• Budget AI — older plan-vs-actual analyst with scenarios and PDF. It does not import bank statements. Prefer Ask Westara or Explain for questions about figures on the page.

Bill type (fixed, flexible, or one-off) comes from the category; override under More options.
