A home, car, or valuables at the value you type. Not a live market price.
The loan stays a separate Other account. Do not merge the house and the mortgage into one row.
On the illiquid row you may optionally link a loan-eligible Other account. Remaining principal lives on that loan (typed, or from a connected loan statement). The list value of Other is never used as remaining principal. That would add mortgage payments into equity.
- No linked loan: remaining principal is 0 (full your-value may count as net).
- Principal unknown: the row does not invent a net.
- The linked loan stays on Accounts as its own Other row. Remaining principal is subtracted only in the illiquid net, not as Accounts value.
Rent and Hausgeld stay Actuals on a cash account. Illiquid rows never host Actuals or Activity.
